Wage reimbursement

TECHNOCompétences guarantees the confidentiality of the data provided and confirms that this data will only be used for the purpose of obtaining the wage subsidy from the Workforce Skills Development and Recognition Fund (WSDRF).

TECHNOCompétences can reimburse the company 50% of the participant’s hourly rate for confirmed training hours, up to a maximum of $20/hour.

To receive reimbursement, a letter signed by a company representative and attesting to the participant’s exact hourly rate must be sent to TECHNOCompétences.

Please note that the wage reimbursement is in addition to the subsidy applied to the purchase price. Self-employed workers, while eligible for our subsidies, are not eligible for wage reimbursement. Only incorporated self-employed workers who can prove their hourly rate can obtain wage reimbursement.

Regarding the Video Games Master Classes

For Video Games Master Classes, our subsidy is limited to wage reimbursement for up to 10 participants per class. For this reason, TECHNOCompétences cannot guarantee that participants enrolled beyond that number will receive this reimbursement. A first-come, first-served policy will therefore apply in the event of insufficient funds.

LOI SUR LES COMPÉTENCES (LOI 90)

The actual cost of the training (after wages reimbursement if applicable) and all other non-subsidized costs are eligible as training expenses.
